One of my best friend says, "What if art ruled the world?"

Well, I'd say there could be nothing better. Even while I was walking and thinking constantly about what he wrote, I couldn't stop wondering that what if the world of art was the only world? I wouldv'e been super glad, somtimes you don't need choices. Nothing has to make sense, you like it, you go see it, you stare at it, you wonder, you think, you contemplate, it may become your muse for the next project, it may inspire, it makes you a poet, a writer, anything you dream of it transpires. It's funny what art can do to you. It makes me jump, it makes me cry, it makes me smile, it gives me goosebumps, it makes me want to meet new people, it makes me want to write about it, it makes want to travel and see how many levels are there to it or are there no levels at all or is it all an illusion. Questions and several answers, what should I follow? what should I write? what should I like? 

"Life without art would've been just bleh" - A post I had seen a while back.

The plans that are not planned are the best, that's what happened the other day. It was a typical day, got back from college, saw Frozen, fell in love with Olaf blah blah blah. All of sudden fish craving happened and the first place that came to our mind was "Cha Bar" at Connaught Place. I knew I'd stumble across some old stuff but when I saw this eagle I can't explain the feeling. This is what I wrote on Instagram- 

"I still can't believe it. It's so surreal. The fact that I cried and jumped at the same time when I saw this. I knew it was love at first sight. Call me crazy but that's the way it's gonna be. "

Apart from the eagle that day I happened to see this old piece and the first thought " Under The Sea" - the faous song from the Disney movie "The Little Mermaid" you must be wondering that all things are connected to Disney movies, well yes :) My life is surrounded by Disney movies, their quotes, their strong characters and I sometimes make friends on the basis of Disney movies and how they react to them and think of them. So beware.

 This is another strong piece coupled with a few more around the place. The middle portion of the wall shows birds escaping the cage and more.

 This bang opposite on the same building. Catches a lot of attention. The colors are the best. Fly away, breakaway.

 This is on some brown, drab old wall, almost negleced wall to be precise. The purple makes a huge difference. This was clicked on a different day.

I am sure there are more fantastic pieces of art around CP, I promise to bring them here to you soon. Cannot wait for the Dhoomimal art fair though. You guys should check it out yourself. It starts in th first week of April around G Block close to the Khadi emporium.

Street Art | Goa | Christmas

Last year during Christmas, we had the best holiday ever. We went for sun, sand and the sea. Go Goa! Now, the best part about that time of the year was of course the celebrations. The hullaballoo, the shopping, the very famous Sunburn festival (We didn't go for that though). Apart from all that, it was the colors that mattered to me, the art and festivities around that mattered to me. I was in for a surprise at nearly every place we went and I was glad we chose the Christmas time to go there. It started off at North Goa and the holiday ended at Panjim. From walking miles to find a ride, to experiencing nature at the spice gardens there. From visiting the crowded yet peaceful church to accidentally finding treasures on the way. Sharing that treasure with all of you.

Countless hours spent in our childhood playing this fantastic game "Carrom", who could have thought it can converted into an abstract form of art.

Don't forget to go there and have their famous "Chocolate Thali"

3) Arpora - Panjim Road

Somewhere in between the road to Panjim from Arpora I spotted this beauty.

I had to fight with my parents to stop the car in the middle of the road to capture this. People go Bird-watching, I go Street Art watching.

4) Baga - Arpora 

On the way from Baga beach to Arpora side you'll see a lot of statues on sale. They are beautiful and on display as if they belong there.

5) A form of Street Art explored very less - Sand Sculptures - They are outside, its just that they are not on the street. That's okay, art is art, as long as it is outside its ou there to be explored.

7) An Open-for-All Art exhibition right in the middle of a flea market (Arpora Night Market)

He has done some really interesting Art work and explores through various mediums. What interested me was his themed photgraphs and then converted them into installations and scultures based on the same theme. 

8) Plain Awesomeness of Goa

This is again in Panjim. All lit up for Christmas.

All the streets in Goa have uniquely designed stars, This one showed the Birth of Jesus and the three gifts.

That sums up my odyssey and possibly all forms of street art in one post!

20 Awesome Pieces of Street Art That You Won’t Believe Exist In Delhi

Delhi is a city of ironies. It's dotted with locales where the urban meets the rural. Shahpur Jat is one such amalgamation. Once the boutiques and galleries entered the fray we stopped calling it gaon and started calling it 'urban village' instead. But if you see past the masquerade, it's still the same place. 

Earlier this year, a few international and local artists organized themselves and started the 'St.ART Delhi 2014' project. They chose specific places in Delhi, particularly in and around Shahpur Jat, and started painting. They faced queries from many curious locals, most of them not familiar with the concept of public art.
